NuRange Coffee Hospital Donation Program -- Progress Update
Hey everyone! So a while back we told you all about the introduction of our NuRange Coffee Hospital Donation Program. If you’re new to the blog, it was our response to the COVID-19 crisis. Our team wanted to recognize the work that healthcare workers were and still are doing to keep all of us safe.
When the program first kicked off hospitals were overwhelmed with patients. Because of the severe run on the hospitals, nurses and doctors were needed to work double and triple their typical workload. As we all know, when you over-exert yourself, your body needs reinforcement to keep going. This is where we figured we’d come in. We reached out to help the only way we knew how – free cold brew coffee.
#Plugtalk
Cue the shameless plugging of our product. At 135 mg of caffeine, our NuRange Cold Brew Coffee has over twice the caffeine of your favorite energy drinks. This is NATURAL caffeine, not the fake stuff found in energy drinks with too many ingredients you cant pronounce.
Additionally, with less than a gram of sugar, our coffee is GOOD for you. The only additives are Vitamin C, L-Theanine, and Magnesium. These are all included to aid the body’s performance, rather than give it a quick boost of energy and leave you crashing.
The Results Are In...
We figured people needed the clean energy of our coffee. So, we began a social media campaign to help coordinate donations with local Denver-area hospitals. While the program started out slow, we quickly picked up steam as word spread over social media. We’re incredibly thankful to everyone who reached out to coordinate donations and nominate local healthcare workers for significant discounts on our products.
When all was said and done, the NuRange Coffee Hospital Donation Program was a great success! **borat voice** We had the privilege of donating over $2500 worth of product to 12 area hospitals. We went as far as Boulder to complete our donations, and we were even able to donate n95 masks and gloves to the UC Health Network!
In addition to the donations, we ran a 50% discount for all healthcare workers. Countless nurses and doctors placed orders to get the clean energy they needed. We want to give a special shoutout to our friends over at 5280 for recognizing our work and helping to get the word out!
Sharing is caring
It feels good to give back to our local community. Yes, the act of giving felt good. But what really made this a great experience were the messages of gratitude from all of those that received donations. While we couldn’t see their smiles through the masks, we could tell that we made a difference just based on their reactions in the pictures they sent us. NuRange, it’s good for the soul. Giving back, its GREAT for the soul. NuRange out, D-town down.
